Explore the SEALCOIN whitepaper for an in-depth look at our comprehensive approach to revolutionizing IoT transactions.

TIOT is the native utility and payment token of the SEALCOIN ecosystem. It enables secure, autonomous transactions between IoT devices — across energy, data, compute, and more — while anchoring governance and identity frameworks through a Proof-of-Security (PoSy) mechanism.

The core idea behind Sealcoin is to create a secure “machine-to-machine” (M2M) economy. They are building a decentralized system that allows smart devices within the Internet of Things (IoT) to autonomously and securely transact with each other in real-time. This means devices like drones, smart meters, electric vehicles, or industrial sensors can automatically pay for services they need, such as an energy recharge, data transmission, or computing power, without requiring human intervention or a traditional financial intermediary.

To achieve this, Sealcoin combines several advanced technologies. It starts with embedding highly secure semiconductor chips (Secure Elements) into devices to give them a unique, tamper-proof digital identity. This identity is then managed through a Public Key Infrastructure (PKI). All transactions are recorded on a decentralized ledger (Hedera Hashgraph) to ensure they are transparent and immutable. The system uses its own cryptocurrency, the TIOT token, as the medium of exchange for these automated payments.
